Tanushree Dutta was born in 1979, celebrates her birthday on 19th March. Born in Jamshedpur, Bihar. Her father Tappan is associated with Life Insurance Corporation of India.

She has a degree in commerce from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune. Worked for the Oracle Management Institute before joining the Femina Miss India Contest. She won the crown, in addition to trust and Miss Miss beautiful smile and went to Ecuador, where she took her place among the final ten in Miss Universe contest. She is there's a breakthrough role.
