Sushmitha Sen was born in a Bengali family. Her father, Shubeer Sen, was a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander and her mother, Subhra Sen, was an artist and fashion designer jewelry. Has only one brother, Rajeev senator was born in New Protestant Hospital, Hyderabad, and grew up in New Delhi. She attended school Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute. All three women went to three participants. At the end, the judges placed their votes on Sushmita, making her the first woman from India at the Miss Universe
Film Career

After her reign as Miss Universe was over, Sushmita became an actress. Her first film, dastak in 1996, where he laid the victim stalker, not the box office. Temporarily named "Benazir Bhutto: The Movie", the film will be shot at various locations in Pakistan, USA, UK and Dubai, where Bhutto had spent years as a student and later as a political leader in exile. When asked Sushmita to play this important role, he excitedly said, "Yes, I'm glad to play a role."
Recently played in Not Knot Disturb Govinda with longtime partner screen. Film is not doing well.
