Amrita Rao was born in Bombay to Deepak Rao. She belongs to a Brahmin family in Mangalore in Karnataka. Amrita speaks Marathi, Hindi, English and mother tongue, Konkani
Career
Modeling
Amrita Rao attended Canossa School in Mumbai, and later entered school in Sofia, to pursue a degree in psychology. While studying there, she auditioned for advertising Fair Ever personality Cream. Its appearance in Perk Karwa advertising Cadbury's Chaut and the Bru Coffee advertisement helped her receive offers from film directors in Bollywood. Because she wanted to finish his education, he denied it. After receiving a degree in psychology, she began her profession as an actor working in movies.
Acting
